Brandon Oliver is a Principal at BankTech Ventures and leads the fund's bank relations, spending his time where the fund lives: inside community banks. From quarterly innovation calls to on-site innovation days, he helps LP banks turn technology curiosity into working strategy, while leading sourcing and investment efforts alongside the team. Before BankTech, Brandon ran operations for the DCU FinTech Innovation Center, a pre-seed accelerator for emerging fintech founders, researched emerging SaaS technologies at JPMorgan, and advised portfolio companies on acquisition strategy as an analyst at Kamylon Holdings. A serial entrepreneur at heart, he still advises startups across fintech, healthtech, and proptech. Brandon holds degrees in Corporate Finance and Mathematics and an MBA, all from Bentley University. He lives in Boston, where he can be found playing hockey or piano, and occasionally podcasting about both worlds.
